In many instances, pets extend the life of their owners because of their loyalty and unconditional love. They are family. And, when you adopt a shelter animal you are bringing hope and new life to a pet that was either abandoned, lost or abused. Animals feel pain, happiness and gratitude just as humans do. So, join in the new Yonkers Animal Shelter efforts and help give hope and protection to our furry friends.
